Bra or front end protector? Yaris S
I was wondering, I have been suffering many chips and now flaking paint from all the highway miles here in KY, and the front of the Yaris is starting to look worst then my friends 5 year old car, they have a front end type bra on it I think they are called, anyone know who makes one for the Yaris that is good quality? Hope to spend only about $150 to $200 on it. Thanks, Ron

If you were going to have a clear bra installed (vinyl overlay), you'd want to repaint first. Bra is probably better idea. Did you try eBay?

I would just use touch up paint. I know it would be a pain, but I dont know exactly how a bra or overlay would look.

Not sure how it'd look but I do understand your problems because that flat front end just draws bugs and stones in. And knowing how you guys drive down there I'm sure it gets even worse when you're driving 95 mph. LOL!
Here's one by LaBra for $65. And here's a whole bunch more.

the problem with laBra's is that they tend to do more harm then good should anything get stuck between them and your paint...

I've been looking for a half bra but haven't found one yet.
BTW, I've been running with bras for years on my cars and never had any issues with paint. Just keep the car waxed, install the bra properly, remove the bra and clean it and the car regularly, and always remove the bra when wet. |
