30A Power Fuse Instrument Panel Location?
So i stuck my head underneath and is the description it shows 30A Power fuse should be next to all the other fuses lines up in a grid. But visually when i look at it, I dont see it anywhere there?
Can someone give me a hint or location of this fuse? My power windows aren't working (the green AUTO illumination on the button for the driver window does not glow when car is turned on) I pulled ECU-B engine bay fuse, the wire inside fuse is not broken. I pulled the ECU-IG fuse underneath the clutch pedal and the wire inside fuse was intact and not broken....The power fuse 30a HAS to be the culprit. My passenger window is halfway down, can't go anywhere without getting it back up |

It is on the face of the under dash fuse panel, just under the two connectors with the black locking mechanism.

I think you are looking at the relays. The fusible link looks like this:

Hope this helps guys, Kioshi asked me to take a look to compare to mine, so i took some pics of mine... sorry, big pics, wanted you to be able to see all the little texts
I circled the fuses that Scott is talking about in the 3rd image in red, I also circled the empty spot where another one of the same fuses could go, but is currently vacant in green. I believe its the bottom left pink fuse on the front of the panel (circled in red) that you need to look at/change.

That's correct - It is the bottom left one. Off the top of my head I was remembering it as being higher than the defroster one, but it isn't

Computerlove87 and CTScott, I greatly appreciated your help on that matter.
It was the 30a fuse that had been broken. All is well and i can roll my windows up now. Computerlove87 - the only difference i see on mine vs yours is that your diagram is colored in blue and says FT and mine is colored in pink/red. I appreciate you bending your body to get down there in the tight spot. LOL CTScott - I see the RS model has much more wires than the 3door power windows connector, I am not sure which wire controls the back two windows on the 5 door model? I was wondering if i could pull those wires out of the 3 door connector and rearrange to work with the RS trim w/o the back window buttons not working (in future use those to control the sunroof/moonroof??) |

CTScott - Since the RS trims were the cause of the blown fuse....
I was wondering since you have a 5-door and 3-door model, to see which wires control the two front windows in the 3-door and which pins on the 5-door model i would need to connect to, to have the front two windows working? Thanks, If not possible, I'll just deal with the empty two slots found on the rs trim for the 5-door model. |

It's kind of scary that the same connector is used with a completely different pinout. I guess Toyota figures that no one would swap 3 door trim with 5 door.

These connectors are A LOT bigger than the ones for the rear tail lights, so i may be able to w/o removing door panel.
I'll start on it after dinner and report my findings/problems here. |

Well i tried and tried on Steve's cut wires in the connector, but i couldn't perfect the technique to take them out......
The tail lights were easy to do.... I will go to Home Depot tomorrow and try to use a wire pin nail to stick in, and lift up with pliers and see if that works better~ |
