if that's not enough, here's what i said in a similar thread...

Quote:
i'm actually not sure if they are power folding:
http://toyota.jp/belta/dynamism/body/index.html

but here's more jdm stuff, including other mirrors that could be power-folding...

gps navigation with 3d mapping:
http://toyota.jp/belta/navi-audio/navi/index.html

can we say more gps?:
http://toyota.jp/service/option/dc/n...=belta-b_00001

steering wheel-mounted controls:
http://toyota.jp/belta/navi-audio/audio/index.html

oem-hids and rear fog:
http://toyota.jp/belta/safety/active/index.html

power parking indicators, parking sensors, and front/rear fogs:
http://toyota.jp/belta/dop/function/index.html

power mirrors with built-in turn-signals:
http://toyota.jp/belta/dop/package/index.html

4wd?!?!?:
http://toyota.jp/belta/spec/spec/

available back-up camera?
http://toyota.jp/belta/dop/ (look in lower right)
http://toyota.jp/dop/navi/lineup/opt...ter/index.html

sorry for the hijack. i got link-happy. lol.
edit: that's just the tip of the iceberg. despite the fact i can't read japanese, the site was easy to navigate, but i'm sure i'm missing a whole lot of other jdm options because of that.

if they offer all this options, all of you wouldn't even be buying this car and all be bashing about 25k for an Yaris is totally not worth it. etc

since toyota know americans would not buy all these options on an entry level car, they decided not to bring it over.

if they had these options, i'll definatly get it.

I would not care if it was 25k....well maybe just a little...I didn't by my car because of the price...I bought it because I love the car.....I am following a pattern I think cause I also bought my 96 Tercel 2 dr coupe new and it was entry level....but once again I loved the car.

You hit it right on the head...there's just no or very very very small market for premium sub-compacts in the U.S., and besides the Yaris is positioned as the entry econo car and Toyota has the Corolla and other bigger cars that are already in the 20-25k range. But an American (GENERALLY speaking) would scoff at such an idea of paying north of 20k for a car the size of the Yaris. Anyway I'm starting to sound like a broken record, Anyway I'm starting to sound like a broken record, Anyway I'm-just kidding

I would love to have the steering wheel controls! That would rock...I have them in my 05 Freestar and love it.

Outside of Japan, I think the European Yaris gets more goodies as standard or options than the rest of the world. About the only good thing we got in Aus is we can have the option of steering-wheel audio controls.

It would have been so nice to have had that storage bin in front of the steering wheel tho...I could have set up a custom docking unit for my Archos DV700 inside it which would have been so sweet.
