YarisWorld.com Business Cards?
Just something that I posted in the "Yaris Spotting in Texas" thread that I thought might be better discussed here...
In my old Jeep club, we made business cards to leave on Jeeps. I think this might be a good way to promote this site and gain new members. If someone was willing to make a template for YarisWorld cards in MS Word, and post it on here, folks could print them out on cheap business card stock and leave them on Yarii as we see them. It is a cheap and easy way to get more folks on the forum... Just a thought, what do you think? Cheers! M2 |

I would love to have some cards to pass to other yarii I see here! I thought someone had created a template but I'm not sure what happened to it.

I think someone did up a full sheet of paper with yarisworld info. I card would be so much better. I would be willing to purchase a bunch if someone could get some going.

I saw the thread about the previous cards, where someone had them made and sent them out to folks. I thought it was easier to just post up a template in MS Word where those of us willing to spend a few bucks on cheap business cards can download the template, maybe customize it a little, and print our own. It would be much easier that way and it would save someone having to mail out a buttload of cards.
I would just like to have something I could keep in the car to stick under the windshields of other Yarii as I see them, directing them to this great forum. That little mini-glovebox on the bottom left of the dash would be a great place to store them! Cheers! M2 |

i've been toying with the idea of printing some off after seeing another thread about brochures, which is where i got the body text from. i'm no graphic designer, but it serves its purpose!
the next step is to either place the order, or redo the whole thing in order to get the raised lettering that i have on my other cards.

Thanks, I messed around with it a little, adding two small pics of my car to the gray bar on the left. It didn't come out too bad, and I printed up 20 cards to keep in my Yaris. It wasn't too difficult, I just copied and pasted it into a MS Word doc, sized it down to 2" x 3.5", messed with the margins a little and printed them on some old business card stock I have.
Cheers! M2 |

I actually found my stash of cards. So if anyone does want some send me a PM. Honestly, even a handwritten note would help get the word out there!
