Talking changing alloys color

thinking about changing out the 15" toyota alloys out to bronze on my silver 08 hatchback... wondering how difficult it would be to do myself or how much i might be looking at for getting this done.

not too hard...i did several sets of wheels last year....just need to sand them, prime, paint, clear

costs about 25$ in paint and about 4-8 hours of time depending on whether you hand sand them or not. i used a wire brush on my drill to do mine...

check out the POR-15 site. they have an anodize kit if you have chrome wheels that will make them look bronze. and if you have polished wheels it'll work as well.

the anodize works just like any other anodize kit but this one doesnt have to use electricity. just put it on the wheel and it'll anodize. you can also get blue, purple, green, red, yellow, orange, and several other colors

plus i think duplicolor has a bronze wheel paint....if you can actually find it at your local auto store.

Don't use that rattle can garbage.

Find yourself someone that does powdercoating. The paint will last for as long as you take care of it.

rattle can painting is good for the price.

powder coating is 100x better, but you have to pay to unmount your tires, get them powdercoated (usually ~$50/wheel) then get your tires mounted/balanced again

you could get new wheels for that depending on what diameter you're running.
