You know...I thought the exhaust would be the fastest part to install (I just installed the Megan Racing Exhaust); however, the devil is in the details and you find that to get everything right, it really takes 1.5 to 2 times the recommended install time, until you have done it at least once and have all your tools laid out first, then all the procedures right in the right order.

For instance, the Megan came with a gasket, but I already had a gasket on there, so I wasn't sure whether to just put the new gasket on top, or take the old gasket off. I had a sense that I needed to remove the old gasket, but to know for sure, you go online to the forum and look around, then figure that a new gasket should replace an old gasket, but you HAVE TO KNOW these things. I did end up replacing the old gasket with the new one and could tell that the old gasket wouldn't create a good seal.

Then there are the new bolts which are not like the stock bolts since the nuts of the old axleback are welded on and you have actual separate nuts with the new exhaust so that is another difference.

I think you get the point that when you have not done anything like this before, in terms of removing and adding parts, you have to give yourself plenty of time, patience and tools.

hmm, mine was as simple as removing two bolts, pulling out the old exhaust, sliding in the new one and bolting it up. took ten minutes or less.
