The Car you don't want to see behind you...
Carbon Motors recently unveiled the E7 aka "The Machine" a purpose built police car which they plan to start building by 2012....

That will probably take 20 years to implement the way the economy is going and police funding...
But, when it does arrive... outrunning is out of the question for most people in normal cars Matt

the economy might actually help the production of this car... with Ford, Chevy, and Dodge in bad shape I doubt they will be spending much money on the development of their full size sedans which have been previously used for most police cars. The current models can only go so long before police forces need to upgrade to stay on top of the game..... enter the machine

Skipping all of the high-tech cop options, getting some efficient diesel technology into police fleets would go a long way towards getting the general public in the US to accept diesels as an option.
Could be a smart marketing move for someone. |
