yaris ts 1.5 turbo

Hello my friends!!
I have a yaris ts 1.5 2004. I am looking forward to turbocharge it!

My 1nz fe has the following and only changed components:

1) CP pistons 9:1 75mm (stock bore)

2) Crower rods and better rod bearings

3) stiffer valves and valve springs

4) toga engine bearings

soon i will get a walbro 255L/h fuel pump and larger injectors.
For ECU I will install a standalone Link g4 storm.
The turbo I chose is the Garret2554R. When I put the turbo I will also put denso iridium spark plugs.

My goal is to achieve maximum 230hp at the crank reliably.

As for the injectors I will get 370cc or 440cc . which of the two would you choose?

larger injectors for that power, you'll need them.

probably need a return line too. what turbo are you going to use?

230 bhp is about 210 whp, you should be fine with the GT2554R. Good luck with the project, that will be a very fast car.

+1 with what garm said, go with the 440cc injectors just in case you're planning to upgrade your turbo in the future.

you can also check out this 1nz-fe here, the car made 200 whp using the GT2554R on automatic transmission with a meth kit and standalone ecu.

by the way, hi garm long time no see! :)

No one knows exactly how much power you can push vs. how long the motor will last.

^ I mean someone go beat up on a stock motor until it gives up, so we can all learn.

I am also thinking of changing the transmission to one of a 2nz fe which has longer gear ratios

double agree on that, hopefully someone can whack the motor until it dies then we all can learn hahahaha....:D

though this guy here has been pushing the stock 1nzfe motor with his turbo kit for more than 3 years, and is an often guest at the local track circuit.

do you think that stock 2nzfe transmission will withstand 230hp?
