I'm thinking about getting some HIDs as well, but I'll be planning on getting them from MicroImage.

Here is the kit I'm looking at.
http://shop.microimageonline.com/H4-...its-H4-HID.htm

That kit I linked has high and low beams, I'm not sure about the kit you got from Ebay.

MicroImage has a lot of stuff for the Yaris and the prices are pretty good and Welcome to the Forums.

as long as the kit u bought is has the same bulb style.. H4 or H1 or whatever the sedans use you'll be fine. i bought a cheaper bixeon kit for my headlights and a more expensive set for my fogs and the only difference is it takes maybe a second or 2 to get up to full brightness

Until it fails. At night. Those are very cheap ballasts, that's how they get the price down. Notice they don't say "digital ballast".

I wasn't commenting on how they looked, but whatever, I hope they are nice and bright for you, don't flicker and last a long time with no problems!

For reference, here is a slim digital ballast:

no hid's update for me now! the Yaris will be transfer to the business soon and my new set of wheels will be ordered later this month. I love my car but damn it's hard on my back when you drive 1200kms in 48hrs! I need more support for my old back!
Unless your HID kit fits on 2011 Nissan Xterra?!

Please help!

1) [not important] 55w HID kit? Isn't that illegal?

2)[very important] I had a "xenon-vision" bi-xenon kit, and a bulb just went out. How would I go about getting a replacement, because it seems like the bulb is built into the mechanism that moves the bulb back and forth.
