Did you go on a missions trip? I spent 10 days in Peru helping build a school for abandoned boys in '08. HARD work, we had to do it in the AMAZON!

Lima, quitos, and puerto allegria. The people are real chill and kinda quiet. There's plenty of street boys asking for money in Lima .
The humidity and heat in the jungles is brutal...

I actually took a sabbatical from mission work! hahaha... i've been a Catholic laity missionary for 3 years working all over the US focusing on family empowerment and community development... i took a sabbatical in the Philippines as a discernment/recommitting period.
