Yaris vs. Lion (don't worry, not an accident)

Just found these pics on a random website (forgot where now).

Appears the lion actually opened the door! Scary.

Wow they actually let people take their own vehicle on a animal park safari in that country. Well thats just crazy, I hope they didn't try to feed it.

It's apparently common. I went to Texas once and they have a nice drive through safari. Animals generally don't damage cars but it's not guaranteed.
I wouldn't take my Yaris into one! Animals stick their heads right into the car.

Don't expect to see them in "blue" states.

I'll stick to a rent-a-car thank you. My Yaris is too sexy to take a chance like that.

Reportedly the driver was pretty slow about gassing the Yaris to get out of there. The lion's discovering "meals on wheels."

LOL. Drive-thru fast food has now come for animals. Now we're going to have an animal obesity problem to worry about.

We've got a park like this up here in Canada. http://www.lionsafari.com/

I haven't gone in a while, but yeah the animals can go right up to your car and you're advised to not have your windows open or anything (the monkeys are smart) but some people can be stupid and give it a try anyways.

I guess in this case one of the lions has learned a thing or two over the years. I think I read about this on the news somewhere, but the lions are supposedly well fed so they wouldn't have been hungry enough to eat anyone. Just curious I guess.

That would have been awesome if it had been the driver's door.

why not? Try visiting Jackson's estate or the Hearst Castle in California -- lots of exotic animals roaming around. Why the political jab?

Just an observation joke in response to the post I quoted.

Nothing against blue states, look where I live.

In my experience liberal states tend to limit freedom with the pretence of taking care of us or for safety. While conservative ones generally let people take responsibility for themselves.

This safari I went to in Texas would never be seen in the northeast (if climate wasn't an issue).

Sorry, but politics do exist and in the end play a role in every aspect of our lives.
