Bye Yaris, Hello Eclipse
So after a year of ownership, I became bored to tears with my car. IMO, gas mileage isn't worth having a car that doesn't reflect my personality. Lol. So I bought a 2009 Eclipse GT. O.........M.........G. 265hp, 6 spd, 0-60 in 5.9 sec. It's soooooo fast and just lovely. It has the sun/sound package with moonroof, and 10" Rockford Fosgate Sub. My Yaris was nice, and I enjoyed my stay here, but it's time for me to move on. lol. Here's some pics.

See this is the thing...if you build correctly I could still have great gas mileage and have the push under the hood all for the same price as you would pay for the higher cost and hp cars, not to mention the fact that you would have a more unique whip when it is a 200hp Yaris for example. Best of luck with your new whip...very sexy looking at least...

I have owned far too many Eclipses ... it took me having to repair and replace the trannies multiple times on three of them for me to finally learn that they are too big of a pain in the ass to deal with.
HOWEVER - they are sexy as hell, and I love your new car :) Congrats, and I hope that it runs into none of the typical Eclipse problems for as long as you own it :) :) Enjoy! |

As with most Chrysler products, it will look like shit in a couple of years and will be on the side of the road with a for sale sign on it.
