Arrow May 7th Sunday Shannonville Full track lapping event 6pm - 9pm #3 event Touge.ca

2017 #3 Touge.ca track lapping event @ Shannonville "Full Track" or "Pro Track" - May 7th, 6pm - 9pm, Sunday evening

Hi all drivers,

Let's shake it down and get ready for the hot season with our #3 event @ Shannonville Full track.

We have the track 6pm - 9pm, Sunday on May 7th.

We will have a short briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a few warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the back straight, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by signaling you to pass. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls.

For those that have never been to the track, we encourage you to try it out, even if you're still on stock/all season tires (they'll suck, and burn up quick, but it's still fun)

Anyone on here ever go to these events before?

Curious as to how it works with the no passing rule as many of the cars out there would be faster than a Yaris. Are the cars in order of general speed when they go out?

Passing rules: only passing on the straights, no passing at the apexes.
Slower drivers should stay on the line and initiate a pass with proper hand signals or left/right turn indicators pointing to the side for the faster drivers to pass. Faster drivers should perform passing quick and prompt. No corner passing. Faster drivers must stay back as two cars into the corners/apex are not allowed.
