trd lowering kit and rim sizes - YOUR EXPERIENCE
Hey boys and girls. I`m new to this forum. I have a white 2011 5 door, 5 spd Yaris RS with a few mods. TRD lowering kit, TRD short shift kit, TRD cat back exhaust, trd strut brace and Toyota jdm centre console.
I`m ready to put some rims on the car and want to go up to a 16`` rim. Can anyone with the trd lowering kit comment on their experience running 16`s? any rubbing, best size to run for offset and pictures would be awesome as well! and if you aren`t running 16`s, what are you running and please comment on that too! Thanks in advanced for you help guys. p.s this is a daily driver, so i can`t be too wicked with the offset and sizing! |

With a TRD lowering kit, 16x7 with an offset ranging from +32 to +42, wrapped in 195/50 rubber would suit a daily driver perfectly. This is what I ran for a few years. My rims were actually +42 with a 10mm spacer in the rear.
Now sit and wait for the countless other opinions.

Check my garage. Pics show 205/16 on RPF1's. Plenty of space left with the installed TRD Sportivo package.

Both your rides look sick! Thanks for the pics. Anyone know a good place in the Toronto or GTA area to get a good price on rims and rubber? Also looking to throw a set of winter rubber on the stockers at the same time. Want to get a rims similar to this (click on link)

No. To tell you the truth, I don't think I really know of anyone who has purchased good quality wheels at a reasonable price from a Canadian source. Everyone either gets their stuff through US based online retailers, or Kijiji. If you are very vigilant with Kijiji some amazing deals can be had.

Got the rims and tires. Motegi mr125 16X7 with 40 offset. Love the ride, car feels slightly peppier - maybe because they weigh significantly less? I have some before and after photo`s in my garage. Check them out and let me know what you think. Thanks for all your help.

Take another pic that dosen't have the wheels sitting in shadow. Get some sun shining on those bad boys.
Where did you end up getting them from?
