Hello All
New to this forum. I own a 2007 Yaris hatchback and a 2009 4 dr Yaris sedan(USA models).
I was reading a forum thread on towing. For those of you that tow trailers with your Yaris, I have a question-how did you manage to hook up your trailer lights? I tow a 4x7 trailer and tried to figure out how to get the lights hooked up. The small wires seemed difficult to deal with. I have a converted that they said I need but it still seemed hard to find a hot and ground for each function. How did you guys do it? Any help would be appreciated. What type of connectors did you use? I'm good with wiring and a multimeter. I use the 07 to tow. Thank you [/INDENT] |

This is a good write up on wiring trailer lights:
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...+wiring&page=2 On most cars, you end up working in a tight space when doing so. You can either solder the trailer light converter wires or use tap splices.
