Chris... do you know what brand of bulbs you bought?
The biggest difference is that they'll fit. I don't think the 7507A is available in the UK market.

The second bulb, the DIADEM is the Philips version of the Sylvania one that I installed (and will be replacing).

The PY21W has offset pins like the 7507 - they may be the same. Ours is the 7507A.

Sylvania bulb types The 7507A and the PY21W look to be the same bulb... different names.

A number of people here asked about caliper decals. I asked the guy who sells these bulbs about his. He sells a lot of different ones and can make anything else: http://www.xenonmods.com/

The 7507 has offset lugs. It won't fit. He has the 7507A, just not listed. I ordered through eBay.

From Rich Calnan @ xenonmods.com:

The 7507 and 7507A are the same bulb, the A just stands for Amber (which you want)

thanks

My mistake - The 7507 and 7507A both use the BAU15S base.

I don't know why, but I thought our 7507A used the BA15S base.

I'm getting as bad as ChinoCharles.
