Yup. The Prius C rides on a lengthened Yaris chassis. Why it is called the Yaris Hybrid in the rest of the world, and why we almost had it called that, before Toyota realized calling it a Prius something would sell better.

The C is the Toyota Aqua (at least in Japan). They do have a Yaris hybrid tho, no?

It's called that in Europe. I believe the Aqua/Prius C and the 2012 Yaris/Vitz are nearly identical in frame/brakes/suspension. So far, I've had no trouble installing most of the Yaris stuff onto the C.

Front strut brace is slightly different (only because the fuse box is a little bigger)
Sway bar -- whiteline design works, TRD/UR doesn't.
Struts/shocks/springs -- all the same, but the springs rates are slightly different (Prius is heavier)
Front rotors are the same.

So it's called the Yaris Hybrid in Europe? I tried google imaging it, and kept on seeing Yaris Hybrids of the third gen body. LOL, so someone with a C can rebadge their car as "Yaris Hybrid"???

^ I don't think so. It may BE a YARIS hybrid, with that cosmetic look in Europe. The power train is from a C. I haven't seen interior pictures.

But people can badge a C any way they want. Someone should put a Vitz on it and really confuse everyone.

Ah, got confused with your reply. Thought you were agreeing that the C is called the Yaris Hybrid in Europe.

Of course, any car can be badged any way the person wants, but I personally would only rebadge with a name given in another country, not something totally different.

I think it would really be confusing if someone rebadged the C with Honda emblems and Fit emblems

Oh, and for B2
