Antenna install from stubbyantenna.com

Out with the tall, in with the short. I installed this short antenna from the folks at stubby, looks sweet. Reception is fine and the looks, definitely complimentary. Take a look.

Nice Antenna you have there

That looks identical to mine, except mine is blue one.
Some links below shows how the whole car look like with antenna installed.

Nice. I too actually just scored a shorter antenna from Spoon Sports off of a close friend of mine. Thought I'd give it a whirl on the Toyota. ;)

In this case, length is of no value except distraction. Go short!

I sell Toyota OEM stubby antennas that fit the Yaris perfectly. Have sold 30+ of them to Yaris owners. Here is my ad if interested. These come factory on the RAV4, Venza, Matrix, etc.

I love the way the stock one makes the car look like an RC car...it's staying ;)

I have the standard OEM short antenna on my Vitz RS here in New Zealand. It looks nice but FM reception in my car has never been great. Was far better in my only 2002 Vitz which had a long wip antenna.

I drive a lot so the radio is important.

Im thinking of removing the current stubby antenna and replacing it with a 16". Do you think my FM reception will improve? Will the new one just screw in or do I need to replace the entire fitting?
