Anyone with a nitrous kit?

Anyone here running a nitrous kit? I'm thinking a dry 25 shot should be totally safe. Would also like to see pics of it installed.

I haven't seen a functional one yet. Jay in San Diego had one hooked up but I don't know if he ever used it.

I can make your intake manifold with injection ports if you like.

I had thought about running a small shot of nos to help spool my turbo off the line, then having it shut off when boost kicks in. It's just a thought at this point I haven't looked into actually planning something out.

Nitrous melt pistons, so i would be leery of doing it, granted that small of a shot probably wouldn't hurt but it still could cause some damage if it is used frequently enough.

i've never been a fan, and with car laws as they are, i don't want to give anyone any excuse to look harder.

And even if you do it all yourself, find a place to fill the bottles for a reasonable amount of money, double check it to make sure it is perfect, even cops won't think it is legal even if it is. You'd have to carry around the laws when you are hassled you can point out that it is fine, and then the cops can be jerks if they are that type and you're basically screwed.

There's a sticky with good info here. I'm slowly putting together a nitrous setup from used parts.
You should read the articles on www.nitrous.info.
