Netz/Vitz Badges from Thailand (Pics)
Hey all so before I found MicroImage I bought these off eBay. Since then I have purchased tails and fogs from them and waiting for them to arrive.
Anyway I am going to install these after work today. It's nice and sunny, but a little cool here in the S.F. Bay Area, CA but I think it will be fine. I have WD-40 and want to try that trick first, or should I go right for the fishing line trick? Maybe the WD-40 will be too hard on the clear coat? For those of you that have not seen the Netz badge in person, the black plastic is not really black, but a sort of dark gray with a simi-metallic look to it. Its REALLY nice, I think. Anyway below are the pics I took of the badges after they arrived from Thailand. They were both bought off eBay on the same day from 2 different sellers. The Vits badge took 6 days and the Netz badges (and RS badge) took 9 days. I am sooo excited. I have been wanting to turn my Yaris into a Vitz for ages, but always figured the badging would be too hard and too expensive to track down. Thanks all, - Jason

Theoretically, you only need one Netz badge to be truthfully JDM. The traditional Toyota badge remains on the hatch and the Netz badge goes up front. Never been a fan of the Vitz/Netz/RS thing though since it was sold in NA as a Yaris. Esp on an otherwise stock car. Long as you like it though.

No problem. Dunno if you're going for the truest JDM look but if you are, the proper way is to leave the Toyota badge on the back. Good luck with the install!

My Netz badges were $40 shipped off eBay. They came with an RS badge but you have to modify it to fit the stock USDM grill. They were clear about this in the auction listing. Only time will tell how well built they really are.
