I Just Bought a Yaris Blindly

I just remotely purchased a (slightly) used Yaris in Portugal. It was a good price, and the dealer is a friend of my best friend there. I'm moving over there this week, and the car will be ready for me!

In the chaos, I lost the full information, including the model year (it's either 2021 or 2022). It's also said to include a full package of extras (aka "loaded"), plus five years of Mazda warranty.

I do have this info: "Toyota Yaris 1.5 HDF Comfort Plus Hybrid 115 CV". Can anyone explain any of that terminology? And perhaps get me started on exploring/understanding the car (I know very little about Yaris). Is there a FAQ here somewhere?

Congrats on your purchase friend.
Sadly there is not much experience in this site with the newer Mazda variant Yaris. The 1.5 definitely denotes the petrol engine size of 1.5 litre. Hybrid means you have a combination electric/petrol drivetrain.
Google "Toyota Yaris 1.5 HDF Comfort Plus Hybrid 115 CV". Results should tell you everything you need to know.

My son-in-law bought one for his mother. It’s been a good car they have over 90,000 miles on it. Find out if it has direct fuel injection or combination direct/intake manifold injection. Direct injection only tends to carbon up the engine. I was alarmed when I saw the direct injection. But most cars have both now.

That isn’t a Toyota it’s made by Mazda under Toyota supervision. The hybrid stuff is probably Toyota I don’t think Mazda makes hybrids. Toyota hybrids have a good reputation. You will get good mileage around town. As good around town as you can get on the highway. The only problem is after 10 years that hybrid.ld stuff will be expensive to fix
