Vitz 2009 Pickup Issue
Dear Friends
I am from Pakistan and need your Help. I am writing my Vitz/Yaris 1.0 litter problems in Point wise. 1. Parked for last 04 months / not in used. 2. When i try to start 2 days back, there was no power. 3. today i changed battery and a 15A fuse. 4. Vehicle starts, but when i pressed accelerator, vehicle not picking up RACE or RPM or POWER only running on IDLE condition. Kindly help me you can also message me on (hammadsiddiqui2000@yahoo.com) |

Sounds like your car is in "limp home" mode. Is the CEL on?

is the CEL on?
it might be that the throttle plate is stuck due to gunk.. remove the air filter assembly and then visually inspect to see if the throttle plate is clean.. you can also move it by hand to make sure there is no obstruction. |

also check the ETCS fuse, in the fusebox in engine bay.
