CAUTION: LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY REDUCED sticker

I'm sure I've looked it up before and have since forgotten the answer.
Any insight?
On the driver side door is a yellow sticker stating:

Thank you for the info.

I remember that it was due to the larger tires and rims.
The originals were 175 something 14 and the upgrade was 185 something 15's

Why the larger ones caused a 5 lb penalty is beyond me.

All of this for 5 lb

actualy it was the fact that the load carrying capacity was too high for the "weakest OE tire" fact is that the odds of any one driver putting the EXACT same brand tire from the exact same batch on was slim..and that other brands are not always as weak..never mind a size change

its a stupid recall...its not like whoever if stuffing a bunch of shit in a car is going to weigh everything and then go run over a scale to make sure they havnt over packed it.....lets face it if it fits it goes!

At least they tell you by how much. I want to make some gag stickers that don't have that.
