crank postion sensors..LOTS of them

07 canadian 5dr with just over 100,000 Miles...it ate its factory installed sensor, and EVERY sensor, i reset the obd and a week later it tripped again

so knowing it was bad i replaced it...ive replaced about 15 of them at this point..with various brands including known good used OE factory toyota units

they work just fine throw no codes untill a "high rev moment" after that they pop up as failed within the next 100 miles or next ignition cycle whichever comes first....drive like granny and they seem to last untill you dont..since the original died..ive not gotten more than 1000 miles out of any of them..the average is around 300-500....blew 2 within 10 miles just did a couple high rev foot to the floor freeway on ramps and they failed..so RPM is a clear cause to rapid fail

at this point im stumped..why would the car be killing them?
is it an electrical malfunction?
something wrong with the crank itself?
bad ground?

the connections are clean and show no signs of issues....the plug still snaps in as tight as it ever has and isnt brittle

fact is im no longer sold the units are failing i think it may be the car.....and yes ive re-tested the OE unit that failed..and it will work just fine till a high rpm pull..im just not sure how to diagnose the "why"
