Thanks for the picture. I'm deciding between either the Hella's or a pair of horns that sound like a louder, domestic car horn (cheaper than the Hella's, too). If anyone is curious, Griot's Garage sells a variety of aftermarket horns; they're not the cheapest source, but their service is top-notch:
http://www.griotsgarage.com/p2p/sear...rrivals&page=1 Did you have any trouble removing/replacing the bumper cover? Can you elaborate on how you attached the horns to the car - did you drill/tap the body? I've had the Hella's on another car and I can vouch for their quality. The Hella horns have the same tone as the OEM horns - only "turned up to eleven" as they say. Great horns!

Yeah, I wanna hear them as well! I want to replace my stock horn (I hate how it "bleeps" like a sick sheep); but I don't want to go with air horns. These might be worth the bucks...

I used one hole that was already on the car and the other I had to drill to make them look even. No problems with getting the bumper back on. These horns are 300Hz and 500Hz. So definatly louder than our stock Road Runner "Beep Beep" horns

Thanks for the replies, guys. Although the bumper looks a like a pain to remove/replace, I'm gonna take it all the way off so I have plenty of room to work. Since the Hella's are a "known commodity" to me, I'm just going to get these again.
I'll try to add to the horn install DIY info pile (w/pics) based on my experience. Thanks again for the info!

I changed my mind. Since I don't want to cut my car's wiring harness, I went and bought the Toyota Premium Horn kit that Marty mentioned. The plug-and-play aspect of the Toyota horns (with the optional wiring harness) was really appealing to me.
Since I've had the Hella's before, I'll be sure to pass along my impressions of the Premium Horns once I get 'em installed. I'm interested in both the construction of the horns and their sound. I assume the Premium Horns belt out the same amount of noise as the Hella's; I'll be sure to pass the info along.

Thanks for the additional info.
I haven't really taken a look at the stock horn. Does this mean that there's a little "pigtail" from the horn that goes into the car's wiring harness? If the crappy stock horn has its own wires that I can cut (with a coupler that goes into the car's harness), that would be great. I have no problem with trashing the stock horn since it can be easily replaced, if needed. On my last (non-Yaris) car, I actually dissected the stock horn in order to get the female plug so I didn't have to cut the car's wiring.
