Toyota'a new hot hatch concept!

I dug around for a bit and was surprised when nobody had posted this. In honor of Hiromu Naruse (Toyota test driver that died recently) they are creating a 1.5L FR hatchback. Article and video here- Toyota hot hatch

I realize that this is based on an Aygo, but I would kill to get me some headlamps like that!

Sweet but I think the front end needs some work personally. Still I'll be keeping track of this. Had my heart set on a FT-86 but a rear wheel hatch would just be too much to pass up.

I have been reading articles on it and it says that its price range will be in the 13-16k range. Yeah im not a big fan of the front but the Aygo Crazy shows that it could look really nice. ^-^

so it is basically what the FT86 should have been. Hope they actually make something like that and bring it here.

Ummm... do those headlights incorporate some technology that magically doesn't work in the US? Bulb + voltage = Light! usually....

They remind me of these I see on a lot of Focus.

I refer to them as open-air head lamps

I just noticed that the interior has no glove box! Just that big open pocket where one should be O_o That would be weird coming from the Yaris which has 3!lol

That's the Aygo for you- a cheap small hatchback with no frills. You can actually buy the glove box cover as an extra

Hm... not feelin' that car. I'd rather stick with the Yaris or FT-86.

Still wouldn't mind test drivin' it, it just feels a liiiitle too 'fortwo' inside for my taste.
