Factor Radio has 3 jacks, Adapter only has 2 (*Solved AUX Jack, Thanks CTScott)

So I purchased a new head unit today (Pioneer DEH-X6700BT)
I've got the Metra dash kit
I Purchased the Scosche TA02B connector kit as recommended in the sticky
I pull the factory head unit out today and there are 3 connections, not 2 (the head actually has 4 inputs)

My big question/concern is... what is the 3rd connection for?

The third connector is for the AUX jack.

If I remember correctly, steering remote wires use this connector, too.
Or was it the mic prewiring?

Both steering wheel and mic do, but not on a US market 08.
