How much would having power locks installed cost me?
To help me save money last year, the salesman talked me into getting my Yaris with manual locks and rolling windows. I don't mind rolling my windows up and down, but I'm kind of missing the idea and convenience of power locks. How much would an auto shop charge me to have this done? I don't know much of anything about working on cars, so it's not a matter of D.I.Y for me. Thanks for your advice.

I would think that you'd be looking at about $500 to have power locks installed. A1electric.com sells kits for about $150, but there is a bit more work to installing the kit than to install a remote starter (which you asked about in another thread). The incremental difference between having the power locks installed and having the remote starter is minimal (~$50 difference in parts), so if you are going to do it, you might as well have it all done at once.
