Tonight was the night I was finishing this Fog light thing.

The eBay Sedan 03-05 Echo kit came with some nice wiring harness , relay , etc. so I salvaged most of it to do my harness.

Let say it looks good from far.

Just the fog lights on .

Now low beam + Fog Lights

For now it will do the trick .

I'm jealous of johnny_vitz's fog light covers.

They were , the fog light I got from a eBay seller , if you put them where they should ( Toyota way ) , 1st they are pointing toward the outside and they are upside down so I flip them over , cut the thingy that is the screw to adjust the light , tap some M6X100mm threads on each side and drilled so hole in my bumper to fix them.

Not the pretiest job but from far it does look OK.

This is how Toyota mount their fog lights ( doesn't work with a 90 degree 9006 bulb for the Echo , has to use a 9006XS "straight" one to work )

but this way they are pointing toward the outside so I cut the adjuster ( left fog light adjuster has been cut )

Can really see it but I have oversized the hole and tap some M6X1.00mm thread in there.

Did some trimming and bolted the light right there for a perfect line up ( eye balled it tho )

I just have a 9 foot ceilling so obviously I can't walk under the car but for home purpose it is more then enough and the door should not bother you.
It's a cheap a$$ China lift bought 2 years ago and it works flawlessly , paid $1399 + shipping to platsburg N.Y , drove there to pick it up , brought back the lift , went through custom paid taxes ( lift was duty free ) and ended up bolted on my floor for $2100.00 CDN.
More info about my floor covering here .

oh well.. as long as it works i guess... I have a 9ft ceilling too. but the door to get into the house is right in the middle where the lift post would go.. so no, i can't install a lift there :(

So i've been looking at getting a scisor lift.. still shopping.

I understand.
Scisor lift doesn't give you access under the car , at least not very good access + you are stuck with that in the middle of the floor.

Hey, just stumbled upon your post and wanted to ask: What are you going to do with the old plastic black fog lamp covers once you install the new fog lamps......cuz I need one and can't find any.
