DIY- Headlights Question
I got an 07 Yar Sedan and I just bought a pair of GAE Auto lighting H4 HID 8000K's.
As for installation i took off the bumper, took out the headlights, switched out the bulbs and just plugged em back in. Now the factory bulbs and the new ones look Exactly the same (aside from color) My question is: Is it necessary to go through all the rewiring and such that the manuals show? At this point my brand new lights arent as bright as the factory ones that I had either, so Im wondering if that has something to do with it. Def dont look like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem= if ya scroll down. |

the tinted bulbs actually put out less light than factory or other normal bulbs, the tint blocks some of the light, but by changing the color it appears brighter. changing the wiring won't do you any good, as these are normal 12v 55 (or in this case 60?) watt bulbs and are working in the way they're supposed to...
