ForSale: Dell Inspiron 500m with XP cd

The XP cd can be installed on any Dell computer with no need for a code.

correction: The xp cd can be used with any same generation label (sp0/1/2+3) using the code on the bottom of the computer.

sorry for the continued hijack. but if you installed xp on the computer that came with ME and never entered a product key, then there is a key on the disc already, and if it is used more, then you are going to have activation problems with computers that are installed with the same disc ( ie same code) in the future. just FYI.

Im editing this post to include my response to your next post.

thats what I mean. the code is IN the installation on the disc. EVERY XP install needs a code, regardless if you type it in or not.
