Blitz Supercharger Sets CEL

So i was at WOT last night, cant remember which gear i believe it was third when all of a sudden the CEL started flashing and then turned solid until i promptly got it home and checked the code with a scan gauge. P0302 which if i am not mistaken is a misfire in the 2nd cylinder.

it hasnt come back since but i have a feeling it will at some point the next time i go ballz to the wall.

im assuming the fuel system is struggling to provide the necessary fuel.

whats everyones take on this?

Blitz recommends soldering the wires - I think they should say that up front when you install the kit, instead of supplying crimp connectors!

I think you're right -- but now that we're having problems they recommend soldered connections. I think that's their way of 100% eliminating a possible cause (bad connections) more than anything.

LOL never use crimps for something like this. Even twisting them and using electrical tape is better!!!

You know what's really strange? Today, I was showing off my new data logger to my brother-in-law and went full boost up the street and threw a CEL for cylinder 2 misfire. The CEL light flashed a couple of times and when I let up on the throttle, the CEL went away.

I took the valve cover off this weekend and took the fuel rail off so maybe I did not put something back together correctly.

are you guys still seeing some P0302 CEL's ?

for my part, looks like i'm getting em when i hit the rev/limmiter or the fuel cut-off @ top speed..

were you guys seeing it also in the same situations? or in the lower rev range ?

i did the install myself and soldered everything.

but if i dont hit the rev limitter @ 6500 then i dont get the cel.. it's really only when i'm .2sec off my shift or when i dont want to shift and keep it at 6500 without changing (auto-X situation) if i hit the limiter i start getting the flashing CEL.. if i lay off and just keep light throttle it then goes away.. or can just erase it..

was mostly wondering if you guys were seeing it in that situation.
