I'm reading the Pulley hurts the engine in the long term?

Finally got all the bits and pieces and proceeded to install.

Nothing special HD 1.6 applause engine mated to 1.3 HC Daihatsu gearbox.
Exedy clutch and throw out bearing.

Again i got the seat front and back from the donor Applause and did some minor fab to make it fit.

Good work! Now that I am an old man I miss doing things like this!

The last work I did was on an 89 Ford F250 Diesel I bought for $800 with ~200k on it. It would start with effort and run good once started. I checked all the glow plugs and found a bad one. Now the engine started great!

Next was putting front brake pads on. I had to ask passersby to help me get the wheels on and on. But I got all twenty nine lugs nuts off and on myself with a $49 electric lug nuts gun from Harbour Freight.

Unfortunately the cops targeted it and I had to sell it. In NJ there no inspection at all for diesel vehicles built before 1996. The horn didn't work, the antilock light for the rear wheels was on and a few other things. Cops spot these vehicles and pull them over and do their own "inspection" and write you a ticket for like $1000 so the towns make money.

This does not surprise me at all . It's all about revenue generation. Out of line/too high fines for violations are also just one item that can be so classified in California as well.....off the top of my head one could also throw in the cost of a building permit, and also the yearly fee for a LLC. Gotta pay those (IMO) out of line public employee salaries and benefits .
