Rockford Fosgate 5.25"
I have some Rockford Fosgate 5.25" speaker that I would like to install in my 09 Yaris Sedan. What I would like to know is what will I need to install these into the front doors? I'd rather not hack things together to get them to fit.
Is there a set of brackets that I can buy so that I don't have to drill new holes into my door or into the stock spacers? Thank you for the help I searched around but really couldn't find an answer to this particular questions. Just a bunch of people that say "go 6.5"" |

If the sedan happens to be the same as my LB, then this is the hole that you are dealing with in the front doors. You will need an adapter ring to make a 5.25 big enough.
Also, you will not find an adapter or spacer that will line up with stock mounting screw holes. Using the OEM as a template, you could fashion one out of MDF.
