Firefox/Chrome Tips for Better YW Browsing
Here's a few tips that can make YW searching/browsing a whole lot better if you're using Firefox:
TIP #1: Search YW using the search bar Follow this link and restart FF to install the Add to Search Bar Add-on by Dr. Evil. To create a custom searcher for YW on the search bar, simply click on "Search" above, right click on the search box and click on "Add to Search Bar...", customize, and click OK. From now on you can simply choose to search YW right from the search bar by pressing Ctrl+K and then Ctrl+Up/Down to select the YW search engine. This saves tons of clicks in the long run, and allows you to search the forums even when you're not on the site! TIP #1a: Search YW using the address bar Some people prefer to turn off the search bar to remove clutter. If this relates to you, you can still use the address bar to search for YW threads/posts. This saves a couple of clicks every time you search, and just makes searching more streamlined. In order to achieve this, click on "Search", and right click on the first text box that appears on the slide out menu. Then select "Add a keyword for this search". Set the first box to "YW Search" for the first box, and "yw" for the second box (sans quotes). Now you can search from within the address bar with no clicks! Select the address bar (press the F6 key) and type "yw eyelids" (swap "eyelids" with your search terms) and the Enter key. Done! No need to use the mouse. TIP #2: Get AutoPager Add-on by Wind Li Just follow this link and restart Firefox to install. The plugin will recognize the YW site automatically and paste all the "Next >" links into one big page! Makes browsing YW a breeze. TIP #3: Get Tile Tabs Add-on by DW-Dev This add-on lets you split your window in tiles. Especially useful on widescreen monitors. This means that you can have two or more websites visible on the screen at the same time. I might add more tips to this thread... Of course any suggestions are always welcome!

Haven't played around with the latest IE, but I'm pretty sure that at least TIP #2 does not work with IE8, since it depends on a Firefox plugin.
There may be a variation of TIP #1 that could work on IE, but I'm not sure.

I like the way Chrome is headed, but it just can't compare with the current flexibility of FF.

#1 FTW. Works like a charm on both forums sites I'm signed-up with. It also helps to type in the subject followed by "yarisworld.com". It'll show the thread you're looking for in the very first result. Also works with Yahoo Toolbar search
#2, will try that later. Right now too lazy... Thanks TK

I have replaced Firefox with Chromium (Chrome is based on Chromium) for about 80% of my browser use. It really is that good. Some things are still a bit wonky, but I'm sure they'll get fixed at some point (none of these are deal breakers to me). A way to do something similar to the FF address bar tip (tip 1a above) in Chrome is to simply add "site:yarisworld.com" before your query on the address bar. For example: site:yarisworld.com RBK spoiler pictures (replace RBK spoiler pictures with whatever you want) There might be a better way to achieve something closer to FF in this area, but I haven't found it yet. The upside to this method is that you use Google to search YW, which is definitely more powerful than YW's own search engine.

Thanks for tips. I want to create own browser one day. But I prefer to study python which is a free, open-source programming language with extensive support modules and community development, easy integration with web services, user-friendly data structures, and GUI-based desktop applications. I also read this blog about developing social media.
