BMW 335i coupe or wait for M3????
I'm so temping to trade the G35 for a new 335i coupe. since the G35 is gonna be out of warranty soon... especially with the performance figure of the 335i already in the same league as the current M3. the new G35 coupe will also be on the list... but Infiniti has announced nothing about it yet.
so far this is the package i'm looking at. Apline White/Black Sapphire Metallic w/ Coral Red interior Navi + premium + sport package but then, the new M3 is around the corner and so is the new G35. so its gonna be a tough choice. but at least i know i can get the new 335i by xmas, if the G35 or M3 will be at least a year away. no production pictures or full specs of the new M3 and G35 coupe yet. but i'd say the M3 will be at least 20k (CAD) more then the 335i and G35 coupe will be a tad cheaper. so far from what everyone have seen, the 335i should offer more then the new G35. especially the turbo I6 just give out crazy hp. and tons of tuning potential. if i do end up with either 335i or G35 coupe, i probably wont be trading those in until 2010 for the M3. or i can hold off and not buy either of those and get the first batch of M3 in mid 2007. what do u guys think? |

Damn... I would love to be in your shoes.. in which case I would wait until either the new M3 or new Nissan/Infiniti Skyline GT-R is released... keep the G35 and extend the warranty... If you're absolutely dying for some new wheels why not pick up the Elise you were considering... Kick its ass for about a year... flip it and then move into the M3 or GTR... On the other hand if you're even considering something more pedestrian.. why not the new M5?? Big V10.. 500 horses.. enough to seat your friends and family..
Man... there's just too much choice... |

The BMW 335i has some pretty impressive #'s so far in real-world testing. Seems BMW has underated their car once again, check out these dyno #'s
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26758 they say 0-60 in 5.1 and quarter mile in 13.6.. impressive! I bet you can chip that thing easily to 0-60 in under 5 seconds. |

There is one good point for getting the 335Ci.. xi is optional for coupe.
Good thing for winter traction. |

Thought about Elise, but those things deprieciate faster then a falling rock, and i've totally forgotten about the GTR. its like 335i vs G35 or M3 vs GTR.... its just too hard to choose between the 2.

Well in the meantime you can punish yourself by driving the Yaris exclusively.... by the time you get your hands on either the M3 or GTR it'll be like coming out of jail and seeing your wife/gf for the first time...

I was thinking about getting a used elise in a few years. I will most likely trade the S2000 for the lotus, or a c6. |
