Curt Hitch Installed/Bike Rack

Installed yesterday in about 30 minutes from start to clean up. Pretty happy with the results. Did not have to remove bumper with this hitch!!

Sorry for the cruddy cell phone pics!!

Same hitch as mine. Only complaint, shitty finish on the Curt product. Rusts like a sumbeetch in no time. Reese hitch on my other vehicle still looks new, and is the same age. Curt hardly has any original finish on it at all.

Those bikes are gonna do some serious swinging around on that big ass extender!!

Don't you need a second set of rearlights and a new number plate for it? Things here seem to be much more difficult.

I just installed my new tow hitch and i am looking for a good deal on a bike rack but unfortunately they have to look like this in europe:

All this crap makes them expensive.

Ya, swinging is the problem now. Looking to cut down the arm of the bike rack and see if that helps.

You should take the hitch back off and spray it with Rock Guard. You won't have any rust problems then.

And, yeah, I'd try and shorten that thing a bit.

Took almost 7 inches off the arm of the bike rack, no sway now!

I've been thinking about a hitch like that and bike rack. Thanks for the pics and information.
