2" drop, need camber?

Hi All!

I just got a new set of lowering springs, 2" drop.

My wheels are 17x7.5 Keiichi Tsuchiya Mags DTM, not sure the offset though

Do I still need a camber kit?

No :) You'll get a nice tight fit! Also depends on the tyres you have.

If you are asking because you have some rubbing, can't say without knowing the offset and tire size.

Is some other reason you're asking?

not experiencing some rubbings yet, but, the gap between the tire and the fender is 2 fingers, my mechanic says that it will get lower and lower in time since its just a fresh install of the springs....

True.. but itll lower about 1 cm max :) not more... so you'll really have a nice fit! if you have rubbing inside the fenders... u might get some spacers (if you rub when steering)

You shouldn't need camber for 2"

Springs will settle 1/8" to 1/4" but only in the first week or two. After that, they will stay the same height for the life of the spring. Especially if you bought a good quality, brand name spring.

No you wont need camber. I run 17x8.25 +25 and with the 2" drop I had about 3-4 fingers of wheel gap. I have 195/40s though..

It would also depend on what tire brand you use as well. Some tires have a lip to protect the rim which ads width to the tire.
