It comes with a Canada and USA SD Card. I'm also sure you could purchase updated maps through TomTom as well.

I'm not 100% sure it TomTom is subscription based as I'm a loyal Garmin user. lol

As for selling, I bought it for my moms Toyota Yaris RS, and she no longer wants it as she herself now owns a Garmin.

TomTom is subscription based for certain units.

For this one the buyer will get one free map update (to the latest and last version available for this type of unit) when they install the TomTom Home application on their PC and plug the removable TomTom unit into the PC.

Tom Tom's computer software is pretty slick. Haven't played around with it fully but I like what I have seen so far. I so want to change the voice to something more fun.

Thanks for all the support guys. I'd be willing to do $375 US + PayPal Fees + Shipping to get this out of my house.

I have neither an iPod, nor an iPhone. Is there any other way to playback your own media on this? (USB, optical, etc)

Yes. The face lifts to allow insertion of a regular or MP3 CD. Also it has a USB port on the front where you can plug a USB thumbdrive into it.

I think that the speakers are the main fault of the stock system, and since I haven't changed mine, I can't say that I notice a huge improvement with the Eclipse over stock. One of the cool things about the integrated audio and nav with it is that when instructions are given they only come out through the left front speaker, so the driver clearly hears them, yet the music continues through the rest of the speakers.
