OK - I'm sure this is a stupid question...
Hi guys,
First post (!) and I'm going to ask you to excuse my naivety! I own a 2007 Yaris Hatchback (blazing blue pearl) and my rear bumper cover has been backed into twice (yes, twice!) when left in 2 different parking structures. There's bumps and paint damage, but these are only cosmetic (no structure damage I can see) so i figure the best thing to do is buy a new bumper cover. My question is: If I purchase one online (from Conicelli Parts for example), where/how do I get it sprayed and fitted - is it OK to bring the parts I buy online into a repair shop to save $$$? Thanks in advance for your time, as you can tell I have very little experience with body repairs! |

That would work fine, just take it to a reputable body shop that has good reviews. You might contact Garm (aka cali yaris) who runs microimageonline.com near LA. He had some cool aftermarket bumpers CHEAP.
Hope this helps! Welcome to the forums and don't be a stranger! |

Witt: if there are only bumps and scratched/cracked paint. Then it's highly repairable.

if its just bumps and paint scratches.... you dont need a new bumper, just repair the bumper you have.

Thanks everyone! I'll search for a reputable body shop and see what the difference in cost would be before i shop online.
