new owner.. have questions
Hi everyone. My sister picked up a new Yaris today. Rather surprising to her and all of us because every dealer, including the one we got it from, said the yaris hatch was a 4-6 week wait. So we decided to go in anyway to test drive a sedan. Low and behold, a blue one happened to come in while we were there! My sister was stoked and jumped on it right away. Here's a few pics from my camera phone with it next to my civic hatch.
She's extremely happy about it.. and I'm happy for her. As for myself, i rather like the car. I have a few questions though. Does anyone (like weathertech) make window visors for them yet? My sister doesn't smoke, but enjoyed cracking her window on her previous car when it rained. Also, is there some sort of bumper protector for the back bumpers? She doesn't want the top of the bumper getting scratches from hauling around stuff. She's not into modding cars or anything, but I'm really glad I pointed her toward this car. Thanks. |

Well, we have both of those options up here in Canada as OEM Toyota dealer installed items, so I'm sure they are available in the US as well, otherwise, you could just import a set...

Congrats on the new car
What options does your liftback have? Or should I say your sisters LB? |

Regarding the back bumper, there is a rear bumper applique you can purchase. Rather cheap too. I think you can see a picture and pricing on the toyota website/go to Yaris build/accessories.
