NEED USED TIRES!!!

Good Day Fellow Yarii!!

Yokohama Tire Corporation is looking for another set of USED Bridgestone tires that have been completely worn out (for testing purposes). This means that the tires should have 2/32" of tread remaining or less.

If you have worn out tires and are buying new tires (or have recently bought new tires) we would like to know if you would be so kind as to donate your old Bridgestone Tires (size 185/60R15) we would greatly appreciate it. If you are out of state, we would even be willing to pick them up via FedEx.

If anybody is able/willing to donate their tires or has any questions, please PM me or reply to this thread.

Thanks,
Nate

yeah, but it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Unless there is a HEAVILY populated geographic area plastered with Yarii all over the land, the store is not likely to have the tires. So, sometimes its easier to tap resources like this where there is a high concentration of tires that we are looking for. ;) Thanks tho!!

Nate, I'm supposed to pick up a set of stock Yaris steelies this weekend with worn out tires. You can have them. I'll let you know once I've got them.

You think you can help me out with some replacement tires for the stock size wheels?

And you should replace my S.drives under warranty... they wouldn't hold 3 lateral G's at the track this weekend!!

LOL! jk

Is Yokohama going to make tires that don't wear out in 15k miles like the bridgestones did?

I have the original Bridgestone Potenzas with 14,000 miles on them, with a nail in the front left tire. They are yours for $200 plus shipping.

Jeff,
Depending on the remaining tread depth, we would need to see just how "worn" these tires are. I doubt we are able to provide replacements, but I can look into it (this is why I was tasked with finding "donations"). Please let me know when they arrive and I can take a look at them...

We're looking for donations. If you would like us to take them off of your hands, please advise. Thank you.

No problem Nate, I wasn't expecting much on the replacement tires, maybe just a good guy price.
I can always do some burnouts if they have too much tread on them but for some reason I don't think that will help

Hey Nate, I got only TWO worn out tires. Heh, I never did any rotations.

One rear, and two fronts. The very right side ones are fronts.

Yokohama no longer manufactures the AVS ES100 tire. What is your current tread depth on your stock tires?

Just my own opinion

I just gave away all 4 Brigestone tires that came with my sedan; only 3K miles, I got rid of the tires because they are the worst tire I ever had (for wet / raining conditions) Winter is around the corner I can't imagine how bad they would be with a snow storm.

Just my 2 cts for OEM tires.

Idk about the WORST tires ever, but the sidewall flex kinda gets a little excessive after a while of hard on/off ramps. The flex actually becomes perma.

I picked up the stock set of wheels today and the tires actually have more tread than I expected, probably around 30-40% so I'll probably roll on them for a while but you can have them when they're finished if you still need at that time.
