WTB Yaris electric steering column + steering ecu

WTB Yaris electric steering column with its power steering ecu. It has to be non abs, therefore, 2005-2008 because 2009 came with abs standard.

Im from montreal, will pay for shipping obviously..!!! Please help a member. PM me.

I think the parts number are :

Column assembly : 45200-52300
steering ecu : 89650-52070

Not sure where my ECU is, but do you need the whole column or just the servo assembly?

Basically something like this : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Yar...item19d7a3e38b

I need the whole column because it is for a ae86 project. I will be using the yaris EPS on a 1987 trueno / corolla , swapped f20c (s2000). To perfect the car, i need power steering but there's no way to have one since i already have a manual rack. Only way is to find the yaris steering colum 2007-2008 non-abs and eps ecu. If you don't have the ecu is okay, as long as its a non-abs column but usually , sellers would prefer me to buy both of them at same time i guess haha ... PM for your price.

Thank you.

Sorry, I need my column to race my car.

By the way, the main Yaris ECU also controls steering, when I removed it I lost power steering. I didn't remove any power-steering dedicated ECU.

Are you saying theres a wire that goes to the ecu to power the steering? Thats probably the VSS wire that goes to the ecu (speed sensor) ?

The power steering ECU does require the VSS (speed) input. With that not supplied it will not provide power assist. On the Yaris, that signal goes from the sensor on the transmission, through the instrument cluster, and back out to the PS ECU and the ECM. The cluster does not do anything to the raw VSS signal, except pass it over to the other devices.
