Before anybody asks, this does fit in the yaris. Slight quirks are that the clockspring will be slightly to either side so one turn signal will be slightly longer, and shorter respectively. Hardly ever, EVER noticeable though.
Also, the stock yaris airbag doesn't fit snug, but it isn't enough to be noticeable.. ever. |

If the wife's van didn't need a new wheel bearing, I would seriously consider this.

Bump of a great upgrade at a bargain basement price. No more sweaty palms for the new owner.

Is there a tutorial on removal and installation of this somewhere?

No DIYs but here's install pics:
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...ht=scion+wheel Also, see Betrivent's post above. Installation should be simple though and very similar to what I did on the tC. I believe you'll need T27 torx to get the airbag unfastened. Then you pop the clips out of the back of the airbag and unplug anything attached to the clock spring (there's probably a harness for at least the horn). There's probably a 19mm locking nut holding the wheel to the steering column. Take that out, shake the wheel loose, replace with tC wheel, then replace everything. Should be a 10 minute job. |

It is about that simple. The video below shows the actual removal of the steering wheel. Just be careful not to spin the clockspring while the steering wheel is off. Taping it as shown it the video ensures that it won't get rotated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgWSzVeILhc
