Extremely. I used it for Uber and Lyft so if I could avoid putting any gas in it when I was towards Chicago I did. That fuel gauge was usually flashing by the time I got back home.

My latest fillup was done shortly after hitting rapid flash. Stopping at first click of the pump took just over 38 liters.

So, it flashes when there's about 4 liters/1 gallon left? Seems like a good amount to have in reserve before the gauge goes into panic mode.

The '15 Yaris I rented estimated how many miles were left before empty. It started at less than 300 miles on a full tank, and it said 30 miles to empty when I filled it up the first time. It took 7 gallons, so I still had 4 gallons left in the tank. I think it was based on previous renters, who I guess drove it like a rental.

I'm impressed. I averaged 6.5L/100km driving the 287-S from Suffern to 95-S NJ TP to Ocean City, MD, at an average speed of 125km/h. Similar (6.9L/100km) but in the NY Adirondacks, driving the 87-S at 120km/h with rain and wind.
