Thanks Jill. Installed it last night. It wasn't so bad to install it. Drilled a few holes (Why Toyota covers these up, is beyond me).
60/40 seats are freaking awesome! I love it. My friend who helped me with it kept complaining and questioned why I bothered with it. When we were done, and showed him why I wanted it, he was like, "Oh, this is actually kind of cool." |

Sort of. The threaded nuts are there for the 60/40 seat, but they are covered up by some sheetmetal. There were three in the front that needed to be opened. Two toward the rear, that are simply covered up by white plastic clips. There were two more that need to be opened, but since they were too close to the fuel tank, I din't want to risk it. There seems to be enough bolts on there that I didn't feel the other two would make it unsafe.

What if you want to got from split 60/40's to the base bench?
Do you have to drill then?

hahaha we have started a trend!!!! awesome! i love not having the back seats.. drives so much different.. had to get used to it.. lol but having the 60/40 was awesome too.. if i ever had anyone sit back there.. they are just so slidey!

meh, i dont like those either.. ask Jesus.. there was a cat in my yard when he came over, i joked to give it antifreeze.. i wouldnt really do it.. but its always a thought..

I don't mind the backseat-less trend going on, as it improves my chances of swapping over my rear bench to a split-folding one! Now, who in Texas is going to cough up the donor split seat for my 08?
