Confusion over buying lowering springs

Hello all,

I'm trying to purchase a set of lowering springs online, but as I visit most website, it only indicates that the springs are for 3 DRS h/b.

My question is, would the same spring for 3 drs fit into our Canadian 5drs? I own a 2006 5-drs RS model.

The springs in question are either Tanabe or Tein S Tech.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Yes, they will fit. As I've stated with a few others, the websites are US, and will only show models available in the United States. You will rarely find 2006, or 5dr.

Cheers.

Yes, they will work fine on 3- or 5-door LBs.
You should consider getting those springs from an official YW vendor, such as MicroImage: http://www.microimageonline.com/store

i got my springs from jrp. in missisauga they had them on hand, and i was so nervous coming into the winter but lowered with stock wheels i didnt have much of a problem! i cant remember one time getting stuck and thinking to myself why did i lower my car, they have only helped the performance and look of my car. the odd large chunk of ice i would drive around that about it, no major issues.

GTA member Ric n Sov's Vitz RS (yeah, long user name) is on Tein springs as well.

Pretty darn low in my mind, as I've scrapped my nose entering strip plazas on stock springs. Can't imagine being nearly 2 inches lower.

It's good to eventually get dampeners to go with the lowered spring rates.
