Wheels spinning in idle
I put my 2007 Yaris hatchback on jack stands for the first time today (because I'm changing the engine coolant. While I had the car idling to warm up, I noticed that the front left wheel was spinning. My speedometer (Kiwi Wifi) said the car was moving 2.5 mph. The RPMs were about 900, which is higher than normal idle of 600. The wheel didn't have a lot of torque, because I could stop it by pressing my foot against it. I'm just wondering, has anyone experienced this, or know why it happens?
Just to clarify, the rear wheels were both on the ground. |
