The Beautification of Car

16, 17, 18?
I had reads alot topics about wheels and tires.
But in yours opinion what is really good looking and best performance for your yaris give it a smooth ride, not rough. Light Weights. What brands? wheels? Tires? 16? 17? or 18? |

Stick to smaller wheels if youre after performance and comfort. Smaller wheels tend to weigh less, your car will accelerate faster if your overll wheel/ tire combo diameter is smaller, you can run a taller sidewall on your tires (feel less impact when you hit a pothole in your commute)... As far as what looks best, that is a matter of personal preference. My cup-o-tea is small wide wheels with low profile tires. Occasionally I do love looking at big wheels stuffed up inside the fenders. Either way, I love how a car looks when its slammed. A good example of a good looking car with big wheels is the Aeroover Vitz. |

go 15 inch Konig feathers with a 205/55R15 BFG g-force sport, that is a nice lightweight, and a smooth ride. Both the wheel and tire are Nice looking and preform very well

I'd say look around the YarisGarage, see what you like, what pleases your eye, ask questions, and decide from there
Personally I'd recommend no bigger than 17". 18" looks damn awesome, but it's pretty rough and I get cold sweats whenever I go over a pothole.

We migrated some 2yo 215/45ZR17's from a Toyota Vios to the Yaris, and the ride quality difference is negligable to non-existent, but the handling improved hand over fist. Tire noise is somewhat more noticable though of course.
However, be warned that this is slightly >3% oversized and apparently will rub if you lower your ride, but we've never had any rubbing on the stock suspension. Your mileage on the odo will be lower too :) Note: We were advised by Toyota to run 30 psi front and 28 psi rear with this wheel/tire combo, and it works a treat - others run their plus sizings at insanely high pressures (assumedly very much incorrectly it seems), so make sure you clarify their tire pressures before giving too many grains of salt to their experiences.. |

The brand of wheel does not matter on comfort... It is all in the tire, get some michilins... nicest ride ever
