Hence the reason of this post....

Progress and TRD (more expensive) seems to be the only two so far.

Whats the reason for guys ordering the more expensive TRD Sway Bars lately? Is it the time frame, that they can be had now, or are some fooled into thinking a part other then something, "Toyota TRD" will void your car's warranty?

The price difference is negligible. I like the location the TRD bolts to more than the site where the progress car will be.

I decided to hold off on a rear bar until winter is over with so I still might end up with the progress bar.

As for warranty, everyone should read the Magnusson Moss Act if they are concerned...

Cheers
I push the Magnusson Moss Act until im blue in the face, on every forum i'm apart of.... I was just wondering why all of a sudden the interest in a TRD product, over the "sometimes" even better designed aftermarket product. I hope a few of the guys with the different sways will be posting up lots of before and after installed pics and comparo's for all of us still on the fence.

No yaris yet but dam i wish i did have one. Thats cheap. A progress sway for front or back for my se-r that was lost this year was like 250 each. Just wanted to chime in and say progress rocks! If this is still going when i buy my hatch and sedan in april which it looks like it might be i might pick me up a couple.

Progress is shooting themselves in the foot. They should have been bright enough to make a batch for enthusiastic fans who want a bar from them--hell, we're the ones who yack it up all over the place!

Oh well, keep me on the list for now but I gotta take a look at the TRD bar now.

Well, I waited as long as I could. Just had a TRD rear sway installed this morning. Looks like I come of the list.

Honestly which one is easy to install? anyone? I really don't care about 20 dollars different, but Progress said it's very easy to install their product for around 20 minutes, but how about TRD?

trdsparks said their sway bar will take less than 10 minutes with no drillings? Sound better ha? but $152 plus shipping kindda way more expensives.

Neither is easy to install. I'd bet 400 bucks if you try to install your own springs you're taking one to the face. Pounds and pounds of pent up force... leave it to the real mechanics.
